Emerson apologised and gave money to a Birmingham charity. The Prime Minister of the day called him a complete idiot.

It has not gone away. In November 2025 President Trump told GB News there were areas of London the police won’t go near. A King’s College London survey in 2026 found a third of Britons believe the capital has Sharia no-go areas. Two-thirds of Londoners, who would know, said it doesn’t. No British no-go zone has ever been shown to exist.
